Parallel lathe
Parallel lathes are machine tools used to machine materials of different natures, such as metals, wood or plastics, giving them cylindrical or conical shapes through a chip removal process. This is one of the most common types of lathe, characterised by the parallel arrangement of the axis of the workpiece with respect to the bed of the lathe itself.
